Hi Allen. I pray this message reaches you and your family safe and sound. It was bad enough hearing you were having to deal with cancer but now Hurricane Helene. Happy birthday Jerry! Hoping you're in relatively good health for our age. Missed saying hello to you at the 80th gathering. Looks like we're doing it again next year sure would be nice if you can make it. I guarantee it will be more fun and gratifying than the last reunion you made it to. Old friends chitter chatting over days gone by, laid back over lunch. I wish you a wonderful 80th birthday with family and friends. Hi Ina :) Today was the 80th birthday gathering with many classmates who had never been to a gathering before since graduation and some only many years ago. One of the faces missing of course was yours. I missed you my friend. I pray all is well with you. We go through Allyn frequently and dine at Big Bubba's hamburger place and I look for your smiling face to come by or be at the public park on festival days aka Allyn Days. No luck so far. You were with us in spirit and missed by all our group for sure. Take care, soak in the sun and relax. Maybe one of our drive through's we can meet up and I'll treat you to a cup of tea, or coffee, or good ole lemonade orrrr a Bubba Burger just to chat awhile. Love ya

Hello Jim :) Just me your ole friend from FPHS! The 80th birthday party reunion was held today. It was a great success with lots of many familiar faces. Some who we had not seen in many years and some not since graduation. But you know my friend I immediately missed you and inquired if you were anticipated to arrive! Barb Kanzler shared the terrible accident that had occurred while coming home from Lake Shelan. I am so sorry to hear about this. My prayers are with the both of you. I hope you are doing and mending well. Many here today thought of you guys so spiritually you were with us and understand your absence. Just know you were missed. Take care and take it easy. Enjoy the good weather, soak in the sun and chill :)

Happy Birthday Rick! Time passes fast when living life to the fullest! 80 is a great number and you wear it well. Must be the good ole Midland air, water and country living back in the day. Happy Birthday David! I typed this yesterday and never hit send, got interrupted and never returned, ugh. I hope you had a nice peaceful day with family and friends. I just learned of your wife's passing. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and want to send my sincerest well wishes to you and yours. I would love to see you at our 80th get together. I promise not to talk of sad times nor hug you too long. We will talk of fun times, your music adventures and FP days of times gone by. Wishing you good days ahead and laughter.

Colleen and I grew up together in Midland from the day we started school. We were VERY mischeivious and adventurous together along with a few other of our graduating class. One memory we laughed about only a few months ago was while picking berries down in Puyallup where the train ran past the fields daily and slowed to a stop or almost to a comple stop, we decided we would hop the train and get off when it stopped in Sumner. We never thought about how we would get back to the berry field. But lucky for us the car we started to get in had a hobo in it and scared us half to death and we ran, only to find out later from our parents that that train didn't stop again until it reached Chicago! I could share a thousand plus memories of our friendship over the years. I will miss her hearty laugh and conversations. She will be sorely missed by all. My condolences to her family
