Children/Grandchildren: Oldest son, John Jr., age 48, is a painter/cabinet maker at Specialty Woods. Daughter Shawna, age More…47, is office manager at Schuur Bros. Construction. She has 2 kids & 1 son-in-law. Youngest son, Timothy, passed away in 1995 at age 26.
Two grandchildren: Ariana Provencher is 22 & married Dana at the Space Needle Aug. 2010. Grandson Brennan Batty-Murphy is 15 and an outstanding student at Aylen Jr. Hi (9th grade) and is looking forward to a possible career as an engineer/tech. specialist.

Where else have you lived since graduation?

Lived in Spanaway for a short time. Then just off 112th. Then bought a house on East D & 91st. Have lived in home John was raised in for nearly 20 years.

Travels, special interests or hobbies:

Don't do a lot of traveling. Genie won a grocery store drawing & we went to Hawaii to celebrate our 25th anniversary (this Dec. will be our 49th). A couple of trips to California to visit relatives and attend weddings about sums it up. Woodworking has been a long-time hobby (make beautiful trinket boxes, bowls, canes, etc.

What makes you happy:

Grandkids and gardening. Also enjoy target practice in mountains with son and grandson.
